8 Months Old!

Madelyn will be 8 months old tomorrow on the 23rd! She has become very active lately, she needs a toy in her hand all the time. She really works at trying to reach for things that are out of her reach. And lately Madelyn has turned a lot of her attention to tags, labels and ribbons. She is just fascinated by them.
I think within the next few weeks she'll be crawling. During her tummy time Madelyn does a lot of push-ups and leg kicks. She moves her butt in the air sometimes, but it's mainly to roll over.
We've been sitting and playing outside a lot. Madelyn likes to touch the grass and pull a couple of the blades out. Her hand and eye coordination has really been improving. For some reason it hasn't been that warm here in Sacramento. I think when it gets warmer then I'll get her a kiddie pool to play in.
